Endodontics
Endodontics – commonly referred to as root canal treatment, allows you to preserve the patient's own teeth in the case of caries complicated by inflammation, necrosis or gangrene of the pulp. It consists in removing the diseased pulp from the tooth chamber and canals and filling it with a suitable material.
The effectiveness of root canal treatment is high provided that regular visits are made and specialist procedures are performed.
Root canal treatment of a tooth requires great skills and experience of the doctor as well as specialized dental equipment. Each such treatment performed in our office is performed under the magnification of a magnifying glass/microscope and with the use of a cofferdam. During endodontic treatment, we use X-ray diagnostics.
