SUPER INDUCTION STIMULATION (SIS)

Super Inductive Stimulation (SIS) is a modern and innovative technology that uses a high-intensity electromagnetic field that has a positive effect on human tissue.

SIS Therapy works:

  • strongly analgesic and regenerative
  • stimulates the muscles
  • mobilizes the joints
  • improves breathing
  • accelerates wound healing

Benefits of SIS therapy:

  • deep penetration of the stimulus affects the neuromuscular tissue, thanks to which it allows to treat acute and chronic diseases of the muscular and nervous system;
  • the electromagnetic field causes a reaction of the muscle tissue leading to the desired contraction of the muscles surrounding the joint, mobilizing and unblocking it;
  • improving blood circulation and accelerating tissue metabolism, supports tissue regeneration, thus accelerating the healing of fractures at an early stage;
  • the wide frequency range of the electromagnetic field reduces muscle tension, which effectively reduces spasticity.

Indications for SIS therapy:

  • High-intensity electromagnetic field can be used to quickly relieve pain, accelerate metabolism and improve tissue regeneration processes.

The most common indications for the SIS procedure:

  • painful shoulder syndrome
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • nerve and muscle regeneration
  • mobilization of joints, strengthening muscle strength
  • reduction of spasticity, e.g. after a stroke
  • prevention of muscle wasting
  • muscle stimulation
  • back pain, sciatica, discopathies, intervertebral disc herniation
  • joint fractures and sprains
  • jumper's knee
  • tennis elbow, golfer's elbow
  • degenerative diseases
  • rheumatoid arthritis (RA)

Contraindications to SIS therapy:

Super Induction Stimulation is a safe and very effective treatment, it does not cause a significant burden on the body.

NOTE: The procedure is not performed in the area of the head and heart and in people whose bone growth has not been completed (children and adolescents).

Contraindications to physiotherapy with the use of SIS are:

  • cancers
  • heart and circulatory diseases
  • electronic and metal implants
  • pacemaker
  • epilepsy
  • pregnancy
  • fever
  • incomplete bone growth

Preparation for the Super Inductive Stimulation treatment:

An initial consultation with a physiotherapist is required to use the SIS procedure.
For the consultation, take your medical documentation with you, including X-ray, NMR, CT images.
The treatment does not require special preparation, but it is worth having comfortable clothes that do not restrict movement.
If you suspect that you may be pregnant, inform your physiotherapist before the procedure.
